USA Volleyball is the national governing body for the sport of volleyball in the United States and is recognized by the Federation International de Volleyball (FIVB) and the United States Olympic Committee (USOC).

USA Volleyball is committed to and works toward opportunity for all to participate. It is an advocate for all Americans - endeavoring to assure universal access to opportunities at all levels of the game.

Individual and Team membership in USA Volleyball can be accomplished through the local USA Volleyball region, which for us is the Southern Region Volleyball Association, SRVA.

There are many classifications of membership, including junior, adult, league, booster and others.
Check with SRVA for costs of each membership.

SFVC hosts and participates in events that are sanctioned by Southern Region Volleyball Association.

Officiating, which includes referees, scorekeepers and line judges, is a vital part of USA Volleyball. Each team must provide 2 referees, 1 scorekeeper and 2 line judges for each tournament. The referees and scorekeepers must be certified. See details for certification on the SRVA website.
